Does this count as a general Theo discussion thread?

 

This has nothing really to do with anything, but I've been re-watching one of my favorite shows, Homicide, and found out one of the main writers, Anya Epstein, is Theo's sister. What a cool family.

 

I had heard that somewhere.

 

You know about the Casablanca thing too right?

Nope.

 

His grandfather and great uncle cowrote it, IIRC.

 

Theo said something like, "We'll always have Pensacola," at the Maddon presser.

Whoa. I didn't know the Epstein Brothers were related to him. That's cool. I knew his dad was a writer, too; Theo is like the nerdy, analytical black sheep of the family.

Few shows have a slate of guest actors as impressive and and as straight up weird as this one.

This has nothing really to do with anything, but I've been re-watching one of my favorite shows, Homicide, and found out one of the main writers, Anya Epstein, is Theo's sister. What a cool family.

 

Her husband, Dan Futterman, has been nominated for two Academy Awards for writing the screenplays to Capote and Foxcatcher.

 

And probably my favorite piece of trivia ever, since it pertains to Theo, is that Theo's grandfather, Philip, and his great-uncle, Julius, are the only twins ever to both win Academy Awards, both for co-writing the screenplay to Casablanca. Casa- horsefeathering -blanca. Still, Theo is the coolest person in the family. It really is a cool family, though.

Upon further review, two other sets of twins have both won Academy Awards. I've been duped at some point. Now my bit of trivia is just completely worthless.

Just read an excerpt on Yahoo about Bauer and arm mechanics/modeling/training. Was the rest better or worse than that part? I'm on the fence if I want to read this.
