I was shopping for a friend's baby shower and foxes are apparently the new thing in baby wear. Perhaps that's an omen for Leicester.

What happens if the season ends with Spurs and the Foxes tied in points?

There are 4 game left for each team:

Leicester have Swansea, Man U (a), Everton and Chelsea (a). Their max points is 85.

Spurs have West Brom, Chelsea (a), Southampton and Newcastle (a). Their max points is 80.

Spurs have the easier run in, assuming Newcastle are relegated before that final game. Only Southampton have anything to play for, and then only barely. West Brom suck and Chelsea quit playing back in September.

LCFC get a crap Swansea, a Man U that even though they're bad, win games they have no business winning, a generally garbage Everton that will either be on the beach or getting ready for the FA Cup final, and the aforementioned Chelsea.

LCFC need 8 points from their last 4 games assuming Spurs win out. I can't really see Spurs losing to any of those teams in their current form. Maybe they drop points at Chelsea but I doubt it. I can see LCFC struggling at United, especially without Vardy.

If Spurs do lose any of those games, LCFC probably win. I see LCFC getting 6 points from their 12.

Yeah, I think if Spurs win all 4 games, they'll win the title (Leicester would have to win 3 games or get 2 wins and 2 draws). Leicester getting 6 or 7 points in the last 4 games sounds about right.

The order they play these games matters. The chance that Chelsea shows up against Spurs is higher than the chance that they show up the last game against LCFC. By then, they might only need 1 point from that game, assuming they beat Swansea and Everton and they can get 1 point out of Man U. Is it definite that Vardy will miss Man U? Under the circumstances, maybe they show some mercy since the red card was kind of sketchy. Admittedly, I have no idea how these things work.

I kind of think the opposite; if the FA wanted to show mercy they wouldn't have charged him. This is anecdotal but I don't feel like appeals to FA charges succeed very often. I think it's almost certain he'll miss Man U away, which on one hand, he gets a couple games rest. On the other, I cannot see them getting a result away at Old Trafford without him no matter how garbage United are.

If you're the sort that believes in conspiracies the FA would rather Spurs win than Leicester, as it less upsets the current order of things.

If I had to bet, LCFC beats Swansea, loses to Man U, draws with Everton and beats Chelsea to finish with 80

Spurs win out and win the title on goal difference.

At first glance, that looks like a tap in, but Pulisic showed decent composure to volley it with accuracy. Watching American soccer, that first touch is so often lacking and it's refreshing to see a solid finish.

And the run. Not a very long list of American players that make those kind of killer runs to find a goal against top level competition.

Just watched the condensed replay of that match and the Galaxy looked formidable, even without Rogers, Lletget, de Jong and Keane. They might start racking up points very quickly, even without Zardes/Keane/dos Santos for part of the summer.

Fire from Gyasi.

Gyasi is like the perfectly developed "American" player. Athletic, questionable first touch, capable of looking terrible or brilliant, often in the same match.

Later on in this game he had one of those biffed first touch-assists.

His teammates all know that if Gyasi is receiving a pass, just stand 5 feet off to the side. Guaranteed goals.

Gerrard and Dos Santos are playing like they're worth the money finally. Galaxy gonna be tough.

I hope Spurs are prepared to play their final 3 games with Dele Ali, because he's going to get at least 3 games for punching Yacob off-the-ball.

ETA: Come onnnnn, stupid West Brom.

Disappointing performance today. Had chances to put the game out of reach in the first half but couldn't and let West Brom stick around and get a totally deserved goal. Congrats to Leicester. I can't be too mad becaus it's an amazing story.

Alli's going to have to learn to control his temper. He's had a couple other incidents earlier this year, the main one I remember was a kick against Fiorentina in the Europa. Teams are going to start going after him more to try to get him to do something stupid and refs are going to start paying closer attention to him.

Great year but they still need to finish it off with another win to secure a spot in the UCL group stage.

I found the City vs Real game ... uninspiring.

Even though (or maybe because) I watched it in a hotel bar in France.

Vardy gets the 1 game ban. Imagine if MLS starts handing these out for yelling at refs this season.

I hope Leicester get to win it and not by having Tottenham lose. Would be cool to see them clinch at home, though at ManU is a some what appropriate way to stick it to their fans.

Yeah, I'm torn on that. On one had, I'd rather have Leicester win the title by winning at home against Everton because the atmosphere would be way better than on the road. And it would definitely be better than if both lose this weekend. But on the other hand, if Leicester loses or ties and Spurs beat Chelsea, yesterday's game is going to annoy me even more knowing Spurs would be 2 or 3 back instead of 4 or 5.

If the FA handed everyone who told the ref to F off during a game a match ban teams would have to field academy players in every game.

I think LCFC lose and Spurs draw this weekend.

Alexis Sanchez kind of sucks

Arsenal could solve half of their problems by just shooting the ball once in a while instead of trying to square pass and dribble into the net
