and SSR, those things are all fluffy pieces of claptrap quoted by the pretentious who haven't really thought of the love we make or a summer's day.

The impetus behind one of the masterpieces on the White Album:

McCartney wrote the song after seeing two monkeys copulating in the street while on retreat in Rishikesh, India, with the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. He marvelled in the simplicity of this natural scenario when compared to the emotional turmoil of human relationships.

Badfish, KRS-One, April 26th, 1992, Burrito...

are all better songs than anything you like.

Just that one of them is called "Burrito" is too perfect.

Pretty sure nobody is out there propping up "Why Don't We Do It in the Road?" as some kind of next-level genius like "Santeria."

and can we just agree that Paul's part of the White Album is garbage?

I mean, his songs are virtually indistinguishable from Ringo's.

No but in retrospect the Beatles don't get enough horsefeathers for participating in Maharishi TM nonsense

Well, that's just madness. It's an album with plenty of filler, but you're lumping in "Back in the USSR," "Blackbird," "I Will," "Mother Nature's Son" and "Helter Skelter" as garbage.

Right now, OMC is getting a dull pain in his head and not sure why.

I love that song. It's simple and fits in the middle of that album. Pretty sure it was never intended to be the headliner. Besides, "Santeria" was a main hit on that God forsaken album. "Do it in the Road" was a nice intermission in a brilliant album.

the self-titled posthumously-released last album was by far the band's worst but the most accessible.

also, date rape is a great song. kind of an edgy subject that doesn't normally get written about.

and really, I don't care if you don't think Sublime is a great band. but to lump them in with bands like Blink-182, Limp Bizkit, and Linkin Park shows a truly fundamental lack of understanding of music.

it's like putting Led Zeppelin in the same category as Def Leppard.

I am not a big Zepplin fan. Besides, "Pour Sime Sugar on Me" was a masterpiece.

putting perfection in the same category as quite good doesn't trouble me.
