#1 priority next season is to get a quality SP. Hammel can't be on this team next season he's been awful for the entire 2nd half.

find a way to break a curse, do whatever you have to. this team is capable of winning a world series.

hey, remember in 2003 when we hadn't lost 3 in a row all year until the nlcs, just when we were about to make it to the series? anybody remember 1984? they can't get there, it cannot be explained.

I think that they've only been to the NLCS 3 times in the 46 years it's existed kinda explains it pretty well.

This is like the scene from A clock Work Orange where Malcom McDowell had his eyes forced open to watch the terrible images.

Enough already. The curse this team had until this point was mismanagement. At the beginning of the year, .500 was the popular pick. This team way overachieved.

the team has had plenty of chances. they are cursed.

I mean, I know it has nothing to do with the outcome, but man was it fun listening to the TBS guys begging for a Duda homer today. Congrats guys, you got your wish.

It always cracks me up that everyone who broadcasts our playoff games can't wait to get us out of the playoffs.

I almost tuned out of the first game when the broadcasters kept fellating the Cardinals -- how important it was to be a "Cardinals-type" player, blah, blah, blah.

My b/f suggested I could watch TBS when I was having probs launching the audio earlier tonight. NO, I said -- Pat and Ron or nothing. TBS might as well hire Little Joe and Jon Miller from ESPN and have done with it.

Woody making a bid to return to the rotation next year? He's been doing a yeoman's job thus far this series, compared to the starters.

Good luck trading Hammel. My actual hope is we limit the innings and he's somewhat useful out of the pen.

But no ones trading for his carcass.

Start him until mid season when he is carrying a great era

4 times. 0-5 in clinching games and 0-4 in the series themselves. doesn't count 69, either. cubs haven't been to a series since 45, the year of the curse.

I'd take Jon Miller and Joe Morgan over these clowns.

So we are just as cursed by a crowd hoping against hope that something good will happen as we are by a crowd that is assclenching tight Edited by SpongeWorthy
