I thought maybe we could post alternative sources for post season tickets that we've come across. I was able to get NLDS for $56/ticket and NLCS for $90/ticket last Saturday morning at priceless.com. They appear to be sold out now but it looks like they will be releasing WS tickets soon.

Only catch is you must have a MasterCard so if you don't have one....apply now!

From what I've seen, you purchase a voucher for tickets that can be redeemed once MasterCard gets its allotment. I've purchased the vouchers but they don't have the tickets yet and it just says the seats will likely be upper deck reserved or something like that.

Also, I spoke with a woman from the site about additional seats being released for the NLDS and NLCS, she said she wasn't sure about additional seats but that starting Wednesday you may see availability again because they gave anyone who "purchased" tickets on Saturday with a bad credit card three days to present a good credit card. So if someone bought tickets and their credit card was declined, those will hit mid-week this week. That's about the extent of what I know.

Does anyone know what the process is like for Standing Room only seats & is it different for each stadium?

Can you only stand in the upperdeck or can you stand in spots in the 100 level? Do you have to get there super early?

At Wrigley, SRO is at the very back of the 200 level. Terrible place to watch a game as pretty much everything besides the actual field is blocked from the overhang. So you might see all the fielders (or might not depending on pole placement where you stand) but you won't see the OF wall or the stands or scoreboards etc. I can understand wanting to just get in the park and for an NLCS or World Series game I would totally do it...would never do it for a regular season game.

Is there still SRO in the bleachers? I did that for the 2007 game against the Dbacks.

you'd think they'd have more room for it now

also, are they still doing assigned bleacher seats for the playoffs like they used to?

best places to stand are in the back of 200 at the corners where you are clear of the overhang

Any info on SRO in St Louis...

SRO at Busch is actually pretty good. The best spot is upper deck, center, just in front of the press box. There are only about six rows of seats in front of you, so little foot traffic. You can even hear the press box scoring announcements.

There are also plenty of spots down the lines in the lower level concourse.

I don't know if they'll allow it in the playoffs but it was definitely still going on for one of the packed weekend games I went to. But it's not like there's a ton of spots so you really have to probably get dibs like the second they open.

I'm almost certain they don't sell SRO to the bleachers regular season considering it's unreserved seating.

Curious to see if anyone has seen or heard anything about last minute tickets released through the Cubs?

In 2008 I was able to grab a ticket a day before game 1 because extra tickets were slowly released. This year when I click on tickets it says no tickets are available, it doesn't even take me to the traditional ticket buying page. Maybe there's a hidden link that I don't have so figured I would check to see if anyone smarter than me has figured out anything

Today on Stubhub I saw 6 tickets for tomorrows game - 200 level - priced for $6 a piece.

Obviously was a mistake --- as soon as I signed into buy them they were gone.

ugh. That makes me sick. Hope the poster saw it and removed it in time, but I doubt it.

StubHub will usually void those sales.

Finally got my tickets from Priceless.com, they are 200 level tickets, third base line. I'm 90% confident that they will be releasing WS tickets tomorrow morning at 8am for $200 each.
