Did you guys discuss/hear the story Theo told last night about how he told Schwarber he just missed putting one in the river before and needed to do it, and Schwarber said something to the effect of, "Grab a kayak."

There are so many stories coming out about how awesome our studs are and how baller they are and I want them to all be true.

I believe it was highest rated on TBS but the ESPN game the day before had a higher rating 5.7 to 5.5

Hmm. Seems to be conflicting info out there?

The Cubs-Pirates averaged 8.3 million total viewers, the largest audience for an MLB game telecast on cable television since 2011.

If I'd actually read the link and not just copied the quote from elsewhere, I would've seen this:

It’s been a great week for baseball ratings, with ESPN’s New York Yankees – Houston Astros broadcast holding up as the highest-watched wild card game in history for a grand total of just one day. ESPN initially announced a 5.7 U.S. household rating for that game, but later revised that down to a 4.9 with an average of 7,604,000 viewers, which was still a wild-card record. TBS’ broadcast of the NL wild-card game between the Pittsburgh Pirates and Chicago Cubs Wednesday managed to top ESPN’s revised numbers, though, announcing a 5.0 final rating and an average of 8.3 million viewers. That gave them the largest MLB cable audience since Game 5 of the 2011 National League Division Series, which was also on TBS.

Hadn't heard that phrasing before, but I think it was on here that someone posted about Schwarber calling a river shot off Cole like 2 weeks ago.

Has Rondon's post game interview from CSN made it online yet, the out of towners/those that missed it need to see it.

Finally finished reading this thread. Like David, this is my first ever NSBB playoff win and I've been here forever.

My first post was like an hour before Game 2 of the 03 NLDS. Man I wish we still had those threads to read, they were a lot shorter but definitely some good discussion going on. And 16 year old CT acting like a 16 year old.

Not to be confused with 28 year old CT acting like a 16 year old, eh? ;)
