I mean, I wouldn't say no to STL blowing the division, but I've sort of done a 180 here - seems like our long-series chances are better against STL than against Pittsburgh especially if Arrieta's unvailable for the first 3 games of a Pittsburgh series.

I know it's blown in the entire Brewers series and today. So far 9 runs, 4 runs, 1 run, 1 run (so far). Someone explain why I am stupid for being worried about the Cubs dong heavy offense being neutralized (more than other teams) when the weather turns and the wind starts blowing in again most days?

Pirates: 3 runs on 7 baserunners

the cubs have been relatively unlucky with sequencing luck in the last few weeks, they're still hitting pretty well though so its cool

The Cubs are 10-6 against the Pirates this year. That should be more of a "prelude" than a single game in unfavorable hitting conditions
