CUBS are 58-25 (.699) when they hit at least 1 HR.... 24-33 (.421) when they don't

CUBS are 59-15 (.797) when they score first in the game.... 23-43 (.348) when they don't

This Phillies announcer says he thinks LaStella is "one of the greatest young hitters you'll see." The other agrees.

 

That the Cubs have Baez, Russell and Castro available and kicking ass and La Stella gets as many starts as he does is...perplexing.

 

Splits, shlits; he's just a pile a meat given vaguely human form. He's literally just a body.

I didn't mean that in a way where I was just complaining about the strikeouts. The amount of K's has surprised me, but he's also got a .316 ISO right now. I knew he was a really good hitter, but that is definitely a pleasant surprise.
