Grimm sucks. Rondon sucks. Rizzo sucks. This team [expletive] sucks. I'm never watching again.

[expletive] everything.

Back end of the bullpen is bad

Come on O_O. Do what needs to be done.

Can't even get a proper one run walk off loss to maximize our pythag

Wow, what awful short memories in this thread lately.

Yup.

Mainly because it took an incredible convergence of improbable luck for us to lose this game, yet everything turned out [expletive], aside from the bullpen delivering six awesome scoreless innings. Not to mention you can usually count an inning over after two outs an no one on, yet the Phillies scored all their runs with two ours against excellent relievers. Yeah, it's baseball. It happens. And it still sucks every time.

Next time I propose not walking [expletive] Erik Kratz

Yeah, guy gets the sweet spot on a pitch, it happens. It's the walk that there's no excuse for. Same with Grimm in the 7th. You can't go around walking players who [expletive] suck.

Oh well.

It's fine that one of our relievrs had a meltdown, but two? Really? After two outs in the innings? Twice? Late in an important game?

do you ever look back at your posts 10 seconds later and get embarrassed?

I mean, it's easy to yell at pitchers when they walk shitty hitters, but none of us have been in a major league pitcher's shoes. You're basically asking a pitcher to never walk anyone, ever.

Oh, all the time.

I mean, the Cardinals are [expletive] down their leg and are trying to hand the division over. I guess, whatever -- move onto tomorrow and then the Pirates series. It's not over yet. But, [expletive]. Come on. We come back and tie only to still lose like that. Baseball, you are a cruel, fickle game.

The worst part is the Pirates winning. I don't care about winning the division until the Cubs can get into 2nd place first.

You know what's weird? I don't think ski posts anywhere but game threads

Oh, all the time.

so maybe wait 10 seconds after you type something, and then ask yourself if that's really what you want to contribute

Grimm and Rondon need a stern talking to after the game. Mainly, don't throw [expletive] pitches.

Yes tell them to make sure every pitch is 98 mph perfectly painted on the corner with late movement. If they don't comply 100% of the time, DFA them. Any failure is inexcusable if the club is to reach their stated goal which is 162-0

I posted a short analysis on Hendricks earlier in the season.

This post, I'm definitely embarrassed over.

It's really not. We play them seven times still. And the value of winning the division is so much greater than gaining home field in a wild card game.

Oh wait, look who I am responding to.

Probably not. Otherwise he wouldn't say that our players need to be talked to every time they make a mistake.
