Not counting today, Almora's 2nd half OPS is .846 with an .898 OPS in August. I knew he'd been good, but didn't realize he'd been that good. Please let this be who he really is.

Also worth remembering that he's doing that in AA at 21 and with strong defense in CF.

Candelario is another guy who is doing well in AA as a 21-year-old. He'll start next season there, but could see AAA in less than a year depending on performance.

 

Really good depth in this organization.

I don't know about Almora as an AFL candidate since he went the past two years.

 

I think Pierce Johnson is a pretty strong candidate for the AFL.
