My hunches for this weekend:

Gophers give TCU all they can handle.

Texas beats ND.

Wiscy beats Bama. Saban's not being coy; they have no QB.

aTm beats AZ State.

My Broncos are taking down MSU @ THEZOO

He hasn't been here in a while, but Glasscow is a big huskers fan. There's another fan of theirs here, too, iirc.

Michigan and Minnesota are going to get spanked

Both are in really tough spots tonight. Minnesota playing one of the best teams in the country and Michigan playing at one of the toughest places to play in the country. I think both are good for at least 6 wins, Michigan will probably take some more time.

I don't care in the slightest about college football, but Michigan losing Harbaugh's debut to Utah would be hilarious.

Utah was 5 point favorites coming in. It's such a tough place to play and Michigan isn't very good right now.

Oh wow. Guess I proved the first half of that statement to be correct.

I also don't follow college football hardly at all, but it is hilarious to me that a great coach and recruiter like Harbaugh is starting Jake Ruddock at quarterback. Again, I don't know very much, but my Hawkeye fan friends disliked him and it's funny for me to think that Harbaugh is getting Iowa cast-offs.

Michigan had bad QB's left over and really getting a transfer was their only way of having a chance at being somewhat good this season. The true test for Harbaugh is going to come when he starts recruiting.

Vanderbilt is in for a very, very long season. They look awful.

They're still good enough to win the Big 10.

Um, Ohio State says hi.

So why is it so hard to win in Utah? Altitude?

That's the reputation.

Harbaugh ultimately succeeding at Michigan is as likely a bet as anything in college football, but they won't be good this year

OMC, what are you guys thinking about Chad Kelly?

I think we're all pretty pumped up about it. One of the main things holding us back last year was the limitations of Bo Wallace's arm. He was a decent QB, but his arm was just a wet noodle. His arm strength was Juan Pierre weak. So basically nobody ever respected a deep threat from Ole Miss so they could just cheat toward the line of scrimmage and kill our run game. Kelly has ridiculous arm strength and is likely leaps and bounds a better QB than Wallace. But we'll see. Treadwell has dropped 25 pounds since his injury and looks like a new receiver. I expect huge, huge things from him now that he is faster and has a QB that can zip it to him.

OOC what CFB team generally gets the forum's weight behind it? Or do most root for different teams?

Everyone knows this is an SEC board.

S-E-C! S-E-C! S-E-C!

MN as well. Kept to within 6 of #2 TCU, looking forward to the upcoming year.
