I guess Hammel will not pitch on Sunday so it will either be Wada or we are getting someone.

Why wouldn't Hammel pitch on normal rest?

 

I can't find it on Twitter but on that Kap and Haugh show they said that Mark Gonzalez reported that Hammel is going to be pushed back to the Rockies series to give him more time to recover.

I could've heard wrong, but was pretty certain they said Hammel would be pushed back for extra rest. We'll see I guess but it's confusing that they said it but wasn't on twitter.

I was listening too. It wasn't based on fact just pure speculation.

 

well he does have sources in the org so I'd just be pretty interested in hearing how it was phrased and why he'd have an optimistic sense of talks

Just saying that he thought that since the dfa'd Richard they might have something lined up. They were speculatin a Castro trade because of him sitting game 1 which is silly. I think most of us would assume Starlin would sit one of the two games.

Wada pitched yesterday for Iowa. While it didn't go well, he should be able to go Sunday as well if there's no trade.

Lester throws Friday. Please find a way to get Schwarber in the lineup tonight and/or Friday.

Schwarber is not catching 31 innings (or more) in 27 or so hours. And they're not playing him in the outfield. So we'll have to survive.

Yea, Im cool with Ross and Lester their next start, as silly as it still is overall. Feel pretty confidant teagarden can be sent down though

 

eh i dont mind teagarden being on the roster so that schwarber can be used more freely as a PH when ross is in the game

It honestly wouldn't surprise me if Schwarber does catch Lester. He's our best/hottest hitter right now and he probably sits on Sat with the Arrieta/Hamels matchup.
