Guess this tips off Travis Wood on Saturday

He just threw 50+ pitches 2 nights ago. He may very well pitch Saturday but this move is no indication either way as he isn't going to be available on 1 day rest after throwing 50+ pitches.

uggg as quick as that ball got there I thought we had him at home for sure

That was a really disappointing effort on the throw from Denorfia.

Is the play by play right that Denorfia tried to stretch a single into a double with nobody on and down by three?

If so, I mean he could have run to second during the next at bat as they likely would have given it to him for free.

Hard to blame Denorfia. Lined right off the wall and bounced right to the LFer. Anyone is going to assume that's a double.

Going for second there may be dumber than anything Castro has ever done. Entire play is right in front of him Edited by Cubswin11

Looks safe, probably won't be overturned. Just end this one.

Not to be picky but why end this one? I mean no reason not to try to get Rizzo on and see if Bryant can go deep. Like it's not that much more effort.

Once again the review team valued the call on the field more than slow motion replay, but whatever. I can't get too upset by that missed call when we're still down by 3 against Jansen. No one gets multiple runs off that guy. Edited by Gilby

Not really upset at Denorfia, but had that happened to the "mentally weak" Castro to end the game then he would have been crucified.

That would involved Starlin hitting it over the SS for it to happen
