I thought it hit him but I'm surprised they overturned it.

I wonder what they're using as a requirement for an overturn. You could very clearly tell it didn't hit his bat but there was no way to tell it hit him.

The front slow angle was the best one, you see it clearly go below his bat, and the ball trajectory changes as it goes by his forearm

I'm guessing because the umpire could hear a sound so he knew it deflected off something and if it they could tell it wasn't the bat, then it had to be Bryant.
