Cubs are in a bit of a slide recently having lost 6 of 8. But they're still over .500 on the year and will remain as such after this game. Bryant homers again and the Cubs knock Garza around for a 7-3 win.

Go Cubs!

In 9 of the last 10 games the Cubs have given up at least 5 runs.

Specifically 8, 1, 6, 5, 10, 7, 5, 5, 6 and 12.

This is not a fun stretch

Going to this one. 3 Brewer fans (including my wife) vs. me.

Time to stop playing like pussies and take a series against this godawful team.

Until they decide that Bryant is no longer a 3B, Alcantara is ready for another shot at MLB pitching and can play a capable OF, or they add an OF externally, Coghlan is the best LF option against RHP.

I'm a little surprised at how quickly I flipped back to "oh, the Cubs are on? Nah, I think I'll do something else." Granted, there's playoffs and holidays and stuff, too, but still. I don't like it when they make me sad.

DeGrom, Syndergaard, and Harvey are next. Let's not lose another series to the Brewers.

yeesh

With pitcher attrition rates chances r one of those guys is dead before the series starts
