It's cool that Joe won, but of all the awards, MOTY probably means the least, imo. It's almost always narrative-driven, and a result of how the team plays.

 

Partially for those reasons, it's amusing how butthurt many Cards fans are that Matheny didn't win. Their knickers are in a serious twist.
