I said: The older subsilver style has not been redone by phpbb. The only style they officially support at this point is prosilver. But someone else created a third party version of it that is based on prosilver so that it has the same responsive features, but the same general look and feel as subsilver.

I assumed you were referring to the style I referenced that is a third party version of subsilver that is based on prosilver. Which I have loaded. It has the same general look and feel as subsilver, but since it is based on prosilver the avatars and such are over to the right.

I know the last version had a like/dislike mod that could be added, but I don't see one for this version yet.

Dont like it pro or sub. Its clunky confusing and ugly. There's a whole bunch of garbagy icony things everywhere that serve no real purpose but to clutter and confuse. I liked the old boards much better. Im sure Im in the minority though. I guess Im just old and set in my ways. Wish there were a way I could have the simple clean cut message boards of old.

Where? There's really no more icons on the board itself than before. Maybe a few more on the reply page.

That'll involve me going into the actual code and changing it. I'll probably get there, but it will be a while. In the meantime, the button for going to the top of the page works pretty well.

hmm - were you using one of the custom styles before?

 

For both pro and sub, I think the reading interface is actually cleaner in the new version than in the older ones. The posting interface has a whole bunch of new buttons, but they do serve a purpose.

Well the forum is working quite a bit better with Tapatalk than it used to...but a lot of the bbcodes, like embedded tweets don't work. No biggie. Just mentioning.

I think they only support the standard ones. Nothing I can do about that.

Yeah, I honestly don't see a need for it with the improvements to the actual site.

 

I'm on my tablet right now and it just works great.
