In the mobile version, is there a button to PM someone from a post? I only see the buttons for quote and report

Doesn't look like it. If you click on the user's username though, their profile page has a link to send them a PM, even on mobile.

Saw that, but that doesn't embed the quote automatically

Why am I still seeing that weird O instead of an apostrophe in quotes?

Am I the only one seeing them?

Must be. I have no idea what you're talking about. Can you take a screenshot?

What the hell. It looks like I'm only seeing it on my Chrome browser on my work laptop. Weird...

Maybe clear cache and cookies on that one?

I mentioned this elsewhere, but figured I'd put this here, too.

I don't remember this working in the older version of the software, but these two buttons now both bring you to the latest post in a thread:

That bigger button is WAY easier to hit on mobile, btw. :good:

I never knew the small button did that before on the old forum, I just thought it was an icon that represented a new post was made. I always just clicked on the last page and picked up where I left off. But I kinda figured out the big icon worked the moment the software switched over, it's much better.

It's not THAT bad...it seems to be about the size of a normal post.

It makes a one page forum list about four pages long

Can you give me a link? I don't see that.

On my "board index" page, there is a full sized ad between every set of sub forums

Check it

It's your exaggeration about it being a one page list to start with that I want to see.

I took the ads out of the way for a while. Where were you? :)

Here, I'll do it again.

I gave up waiting.

Is this a decent compromise?

btw - part of the reason I didn't look there is that I almost never linger on the index page. I go straight to the active topics and browse that way.
