Hopefully we get a better fan turnout next year.

Anyway, lineup seems pretty close to right outside of Holiday.

2015 NL All-Star Starters:

C: Posey

1B: Goldschmidt

2B: Gordon

SS: Peralta

3B: Frazier

OF: Harper, Stanton, Holliday

Hoping Rizzo, Bryant, and maybe one of Arrieta and Hammel get the call tomorrow

ooo, Frazier edging out Carpenter as the starter gives Bryant a real shot at making the team, since Frazier and Arenado were locks to make it. Hopefully he at least is a finalist for the final vote thing. Edited by Gilby

Carpenter is pretty close to a lock too. My guess? Arrieta and Rizzo are named reserves and Bryant is a Final Vote.

Bryant has twice the WAR of Carp in fewer AB's...he shouldn't be a lock.

Guess I didn't realize how far Carpenter has fallen off. The BFIB had him as an MVP lock 2 weeks into the season.

I have a feeling Rizzo is going to be the only Cubs all star announced today, with the possibility of Bryant being on the Final Man vote.

It seems like everyone believes there are too many deserving starters in the NL for Arrieta or Hammel to be selected.

Strange because we had 3 All-Stars last year when we were bad and possibly 1 this year when #wearegood

Arrieta really should've made it but oh well.

Weird that our mediocre offense has 2 reps but our fantastic pitching staff has 0. I'm glad Bryant made it, though. And Arrieta could still slip in as a replacement.

I don't think they can pick him now since he plays on Sunday. I think he would've had to be voted in by players.

I'm an idiot, forgot he was pitching Sunday. Good catch.

DJ LeMaheu: All-Star and not even an "every team gets one" selection.

I guess the Ian Stewart trade didn't work out.

LeMahieu is still garbage. He's been terrible since his BABIP-happy April.

Meh. Until he started hitting OK this year he's kinda just been a bit of a Darwin Barney upgrade.

He's not a bad hitter and plays great defense, but he totally LaHair'd this appearance with an insane start to the season.

Apparently Pujols is in, but I think he's the only one "confirmed".

Bryant is winning that matchup.

Bryant is considered an 8 seed vs a 1 seed Pujols.

Rizzo a 6 seed vs a 3 seed Donaldson.
