question for those watching closely....

 

When welington went back on that popup near the net behind home plate, there was a fan that basically threw his body against the net to move it towards the field. If the fan doesn't directly impact Welington, can it still be fan interference?

Good question, yes? Especially if the ball remains in the field of play (on the field side of the netting/wall).

Really wish that Wood had a semi-magical ability to prevent HR on fly balls.

Good question, yes? Especially if the ball remains in the field of play (on the field side of the netting/wall).

Or if he manages to move the netting enough to have the ball fall on the other side

Anyone notice that Muskat tweeted that Maddon said Baez is "close rejoining the big league club"? Then actually gives the following quote: "From our perspective, we want him to take as much time as necessary."

 

Unless there was more to the quote than she put there, I have no idea how those thoughts relate.
