so the guy who's drawn Barry Larkin comparisons is probably our 9th place hitter right now

the 9th spot in the order has hit .190/.261/.190 (.451 OPS)...for comparison, the 8th spot has hit for a .447 OPS

This is why we shouldn't be sad about someone who is projected to OPS something like .650 this season and have double + hands in the field.

that's actually a pretty good lineup against LHP. although i would think that both cervelli and sean rodriguez are better hitters against LHP than kang, who doesn't seem very good.

Remember last year when we first got Russell and everyone posted dream infields?

Bryant-Castro-Russell-Rizzo. There's your dream infield.

CT, if you remove the :large from the end of the URL, you'll get an image that doesn't bleed off the page.

Are you pointing out all the righties in a row or did you miss all the posts above yours? :D

I already made the change. Otherwise it looks like this, which is truncated even on my 23" monitor at full screen.

Looks perfectly fine on mine! I often remove the large for other images too (see: Bucs lineup earlier). Nevertheless, will be sure to bear that in mind for future posts lest you weird resolution-ed people have crazy big images.

Interesting, wonder if it's how the browser is enforcing the forum's margins.
