Wow. I remember hearing something about Hall and an underage girl but never any details. As a parent of a 13 year old that is beyond scary.

I'll fully admit to wanting the Cubs to get Milton. I just figured he'd be the super crazy baseball guy with the wacky name. Knew his numbers were pumped up by playing in Texas and he missed a lot of time, but even discounting that he had been a productive player and his deal wasn't terrible. I didn't know about his domestic violence calls back in 2005 when he was signed, and if I did I would have hated him from the get go.

I was super pissed at Hendry for tanking Bradley's value with the suspension at the end of the year at making it so clear he wouldn't be coming back. I seem to recall getting into an argument with Fred about it.

 

Had I known then about the domestic violence, I would have been on Fred's side. That article made my blood run cold.

I remember hearing about the spousal abuse, mainly the altercation at a restaurant after Bradley had been traded. But [expletive], until I read this, I had no idea that his wife had died.
