Under, for any team, unless the Mexican league starts playing at Coors.

Tom Ley of Deadspin's 947 "Wrigley is a mess and the renovation wasn't necessary" articles is a big Rockies fan. I would like him to be very sad about baseball for the next few days.

Yeah, when the idea of Wood in front of Hammel came up the other day I theorized it was more about getting Wood his start faster(he's thrown 6 innings in like 20 days), but avoiding San Diego and their RH exclusivity makes sense too.

And despite being somebody who thinks the Reds will be better than most believe, a win against the Padres is probably worth more for playoff implications.

i'm sorry, are we of the belief that wrigley isn't a mess?

That would be self evident. Don't need a steady stream of like two articles a day to tell me that, though.

I took a minor annoyance with constant coverage of something related to my favorite sports team on one of the most popular and widely read sports blogs and then made a harmless remark about it on a message. What a fool I have been.

oh abuck. It's nice to have your relentless dickishness outside of the movie thread.

Yeah, that's the real issue I have with it.

But they just brought in like 70 of them this week.

I don't think it was necessary to [expletive] the renovation up.

Yeah, that's the real issue I have with it.

That and the portrayal that this was part of some planning screw up rather than a fluke occurrence. They had enough bathrooms, but a set of them failed opening night. I'm not sure how close to the renovations that failure was or how tied in it was, but in any case, short of having tens of thousands of people do a dry run, I don't think that problem is forseeable based on what we know. Of course, I don't expect that type of nuance from Deadspin, so it's just an annoyance seeing them run a half dozen stories in a week about it.

It'd be one hell of a coincidence that said fluke occurence happened at Wrigley following offseason renovations.

I don't doubt for a minute that they could be related, I'm just oversensitive to the over the top rhetoric that implies the Cubs were planning on only having 5 stalls and 10 urinals in the whole stadium.

I believe it is a mess that was entirely expected and not that big of a deal and the fault, to whichever extent there is fault to consider, lies with the Cubs.

Pretty much my stance.
