think i'd rather hammel in the first game so he faces the reds instead...then again, i'm not sure i want wood going up against upton, kemp, etc. maybe that's why.

Yeah, when the idea of Wood in front of Hammel came up the other day I theorized it was more about getting Wood his start faster(he's thrown 6 innings in like 20 days), but avoiding San Diego and their RH exclusivity makes sense too.
