as much as i've always thought some of the aspects of the convention would be cool to check out in person, i've always ultimately decided i should stay away from the weirdos that go to these things

I'd go if I didn't have to pay or put any efforts towards getting a ticket, it was fun the one time I went. But yeah overall it's just a bunch of weirdos or dads that take their kids ( which is totally excusable IMO)

Never been, but plan on going to one in the next few years. The idea of being in a crowded hotel/hall with a bunch of meatballs hearing a bunch of herpity derpity has been what's kept me from pulling the trigger.

It really is a fantastic time. Probably wouldn't be worthwhile in June but in January it is an oasis.

2006, 2010, 2012, 2013 had to be the worst.

2012 was great because you got to hear from the new front office and coaching staff. This year should be good for similar reasons.

Oh that's right, that was the year I was going for forgot the convention happens the year after.
