They dominated the game last week is what I said.

I know. I disagree.

You disagree that they dominated the game? They gained twice as many yards

Best part is he didn't even watch the game. I have no idea what he's basing it on because the yards don't matter and the eye test can't because he didn't see it.

Team racks up big offensive numbers minus big points against a [expletive] team at home.

Team has ranged from hugely disappointing to terrible all season.

Big offensive numbers minus big points in one game doesn't mean a whole hell of a lot to me in terms of pointing to them getting better or showing signs of life. The big numbers were seasonal aberrations.

That's like not even an argument.

Ah yes, we call this the Derwood movie review.

Apparently you're so broken by your teams always letting you down you're going to hang your hat on the Bears beating the Viking on 11/16/14 as the last time you knew joy.

Tell me tales about how they dominated in the other wins I missed, too. I need to warm my bones and my heart.

Let me get this straight. Did the Bears really just decline a penalty rather than take a chance at returning a kick?

It would have been a squib and nothing would have happened anyway so I'm glad they spared us the song and dance

You just can't get over being ridiculously wrong in public, can you?

Give credit where credit is due. That was a face-melting burn.

Briggs is questionable, has a groin injury.

I'm gonna indulge my meatball and miss Lovie for a minute. He was never *embarrassing* after his first year, they never sunk lower than 7-9 and almost always were competitive.

Trestman should be fired at halftime.

He was embarrassing plenty of times. Plenty.

The sucky thing is my replacement rooting interest, the Seahawks, have decided to regress aggressively this year too

You are a disgusting human. [expletive] that entire organization.

Unless I said they lost last week I'm not sure how I'm "wrong" in thinking it was an obvious aberration in how they've performed this year and in being let down that they didn't score more.

Please, tell me what I missed by not watching that I couldn't have seen in the game stats.

7-1 start, 10-6 finish. Good times.

Yeah but that's not what you've been saying.

your last sentence proves your inability to just lay down a bad hand.

If Trestman can't make adjustments on offense and devise ways to get the ball to your big playmakers, I'm not sure what you have left. He's not gonna rally the players to gut out a win.

The point is that in saying they didn't dominate a game that the stats say they did, you are implying that something else is your reasoning for saying they didn't dominate, which is weird because you didn't watch the game.

That was because our eminently replaceable quarterback had to be replaced, right?

The worst part about this is all the national media people that didn't watch this game (don't blame them) that are going to criticize the Bears for firing Lovie again. Lovie and Trestman are both terrible coaches. Had the Bears made the right choice and went with Arians, this isn't even a discussion. Instead they downgraded.

None of these mean that they didn't dominate last week's game.

The offense did not dominate last week's game. Minnesota's incompetent offense dominated the game. That is the point.

I wanted Clements, to be fair.
