LSU is gonna win the football game.

not if these refs can help it

That is potentially the worst call I've ever seen. For that situation I seriously cannot believe they made that call.

So, Utah could have gone up 14-0 on Oregon on this play:

Horrible play calling or QB decision-making by LSU in overtime. Additionally, on the final play, Jennings should have run for the first down and Alabama got away with PI in the endzone.

Alabama sure seems to pull escape jobs like this every year. And they're probably the favorite to win the national title again as of now.

So assuming Oregon cleans up Utah. The top 8 should be:

MSST

FSU

OREGON

BAMA

BAYLOR

TCU

ASU

OSU

You also have Duke and Nebraska as one loss power 5 teams but they are I think we agree not on this tier. The 4 playoff should come out of the 8 teams above. TCU and OSU probably need help but every other team can win out for a spot.

I think Baylor has the easiest route into the playoff as they will only need to beat hove vs Ok State and KSU and at Texas tech. Pretty much everybody else on the list needs to beat at least 2 too teams. And Baglor has the big 12 tiebreaker with the win over at TCH.

Baylor isn't in right now. The top 4 is FSU, Miss St, Alabama and TCU or Oregon (personally I prefer TCU, but to each their own). Arizona St is ahead of them too. The Bears still need some help, I think.

Can't see anyone beating Alabama on a neutral site outside of Florida State.

IMO Bama would easily beat Florida State. This isn't 2013 FSU.

Nebraskas schedule is so pathetic that I think several 2 loss teams might be more deserving even if they won out. Their best win of the year by a large margin would be the Big Ten championship game.

Their only D1 non conference team they played with a winning record was Miami. And their Big Ten schedule is terrible outside of games in EL and Madison

A Vine does not do this play justice.

Sorry, the Vine was all I had on my phone. What a Leon Lett moment and Utah hung around in that game until the last few minutes - they might have been able to pull off the upset without that 14-point swing.

Watched this play live and to add to the crazy, the 1st Oregon player was the Saftey who was beat - Eric Dargan. He picked up the ball and looked to the side judge and then dropped the ball too. Crazy that after all that, 100 yards later the game was tied.

But I do have to disagree on the upset possibility, even if it was 14-0. The 1Q was bad because they were using the silent count and the 3 freshman on the line (only 2 healthy starters, down to one now after All Pac-12 center goes down) had never done it before and thus were not concentrating on assignments. All bad plays had unblocked D-linemen coming in untouched.

Regardless, the Ducks were never in jeporady even in the 3rd when it was 30-27. Offense finally started to roll. I will say that something had to be happening to the turf. The cart for major injuries was out 3 times and both teams lost at least 5 starters to knee or leg injuries. Horrific actually

I've got Baylor ahead of TCU because of H2H. I don't think TCU's resume is that much better to negate the H2H win.

I don't know if you meant in the Big 12 or for the playoff but Baylor doesn't need help for the Big 12 title. Them, TCU and KSt all have one-loss. Baylor still plays KSt so if they win out, they'll be 8-1 in conference with a win over TCU as the tiebreaker. Nationally, I think they do need a little help. Worst case for them would be undefeated Florida State, two one-loss SEC teams, one-loss Pac-12 and one-loss Big 10 and them. The non-SEC schools will be rooting hard for Miss. St to beat Bama next week.

I think a convincing win in either direction will eliminate the loser of the bama - miss st game. If they play each bother in week 13 and then are both inn the playoff that's quite an indictment of the playoff. If Miss St wins then bama is out. Bama would then also need to beat auburn.

So I do thjnk Baylor, if they win out, would get in as the big 12 champ with a win over TCU. But you never know the committee could change their criteria.

Heartbreaker yesterday. Auburn just made too many mistakes...2 fumbles in the last three minutes. Maybe next year..
