Serious question: What's wrong with Bickell?

He had/has "vertigo"/concussion, which is probably the main reason. Also, the speed game isn't his strong suit. And he was overpaid/overrated due to a great playoff stretch in 2013. He's a 3rd or 4th line player in this league, maybe 2nd on a weaker team who is being counted on to play with Kane/Richards because of his size.

I doubt the vertigo issue has anything to do with his play. Some guys just get that "lost" look on the ice sometimes. They lose track of their assignments and end up running around trying to make something happen. That's him right now. Let's just hope someone is enticed by his size and past success to take that contract this summer.

So the Hawks have won the Corsi battle in all 3 games so far, suggesting that they have actually been the better team this series. Now's the time for that to work in our favor...

Game 1: Corsi For (CF): 53.6% Corsi Against (CA): 46.4%

Game 2: CF: 50.5% CA: 49.5%

Game 3: CF: 56.8% CA: 43.2%

This is very similar to the Anaheim series up to this point and we all know how that series ended. I won't get worried until the Hawks lose a 3rd game, only because a lucky bounce, hot goalie can kill you in one game. Toews was very quiet vs Boston during the first three games, very quiet against the Ducks too at the start of that series.

For all the ledge jumpers please read this article, I read a similar article from the same blog when the Hawks were down 3-2 last series.

Well, they better start playing to their stats tonight, or it's not going to matter.

Vasilevskiy in goal tonight.

Smart move on the Lightning's part. It's a game they probably won't win anyway, so rest Bishop for Saturday and hope the Hawks can't solve a new goalie.

Fake high stick gets them a pp.

Full on mugging finally gets us a pp, broken up by the period end.

So THAT is how it's gonna be tonight
