lol someone fact check this:

Bulls/Bucks

Cubs/Brewers

Bears/Packers

White Sox/Brewers

Since 1994: 232-232.

This game is the tiebreaker.

Guess we shouldn't add Wisconsin/Northwestern or Marquette/DePaul to that.

So the HBP on a swing and miss third strike with two outs is a dead ball then? Otherwise Rizzo would have been able to run to first.

Yeah it's a dead ball. Judging by the ump's reaction, he didn't know it hit him until Rizzo said something.

kind of rooting for a blown save and 15 innings. i miss the cubs already

seriously. first time i can say that i was left wanting more since 08 or 09. can't remember exactly how i felt about the 09 season toward the end. hung around for a while but then totally fell off the map in aug and sept, iirc.

the umpire didn't make the out motion until rizzo stepped towards the dugout, which i interpreted to mean rizzo could have run to first and wasn't out until he moved toward the dugout and gave himself up.

2010 was kind of that way, I think.

Given Javy's adjustment and Starlin's injury, I'm ready for it to be over so the offseason moves can start.

Last day of the season is always a little depressing. I'm so excited for better things to come.

Will be interesting to see what Kasper says about the TV situation in the next few minutes.

I guess there's still a few Bulls game left on WGN America, but feels like the end of an era for da Superstation WGN.

Wow, this feels much more like a merciful ending to me. I'm always sad when baseball ends, but this team seemed pretty burnt out by the end. Soler, Rizzo, Arrieta and Hendricks were like the only ones worth watching most of the time.

It was kinda underwhelming to say the least. Most of us were expecting some retrospective of all the highlights that the Cubs had on WGN. To walk away like this without a mention was terrible. Bozo's Circus got a bigger send-off.
