So Purdue loses to Central Michigan, Nebraska needs last second TD to beat McNeese State at home, OSU losing at home, Michigan getting killed, Sparty losing to Oregon (decent performance though) Wisconsin took awhile to get going at home against Western Illinois, Illinois and Iowa need late comebacks to win against Western Kentucky and Ball State respectively, Northwestern 0-2 after losing at home twice.

 

At least Rutgers and Maryland are undefeated

Missed the game, but was getting a ton of texts in the first half about how impressive Cozart and the team looked in general. Not so much in the second half. Is there any hope for a few more wins based on what you saw?

They gave Mack Brown plenty of time, of course his good friend was the AD. Strong will get past this year at the very least. Mack handed him a shitty QB situation as well. Oh and BYU ran for something like 550 yards last year vs Mack.

Keep in mind that he is running a depleted team out there right now with all of the suspensions, but somehow I think the Whorns fans don't give a [expletive] about that. I feel like Strong could be the right coach for TX, but his personality and his race frankly will probably not give him the chance. A bad year this year and a bad start next and he is toast.

Texas getting blown out by BYU in Austin is unacceptable. They have plenty of talent on that field. It's simply terrible coaching. It's impossible for me to believe that strong will last. How can you let that happen at home?

 

Texas and Michigans football programs are total embarrassments to the legacies of their programs. Hoke and Strong were both step down hires. Texas should have hired Petrino. Hoke should have already been fired. Texas is gonna suck until they get the next Nick Saban to come in at 10 mil per year.
