What a class that's looking like going forward. Tseng is definitely in our top 10, Torres might be, Jimenez is definitely in our top 20 and Mejia might be.

I wish we'd hear an update on why Moreno hasn't pitched since July 23rd. And why Matos hasn't played since August 16th.

Still, helluva class and I hope next year mirrors it.

What happened to DSL Cubs catcher Yohan Matos? Been missing from the box scores for a while now.

We never hear about injuries in the Latin summer leagues.

Schwarber's Daytona OPS up to .908 in 126 AB

While Michael Conforto, who Law is in love with, sits in short season A ball with an .831OPS.

Here's how Kris Bryant has completely altered the culture of the prospect following Cubs fan. Last year, the Cubs selected the best college hitter in the draft and he hit .336/.390/.688 between Boise and Daytona (with 2 warm up games in Mesa). No one had ever put up numbers like that from the get go before, at least not for the Cubs. We were all going crazy. Kris Bryant's going to be great! Thank God he fell to the Cubs at the 2nd pick!

A year later, the Cubs pick arguably the best college hitter with the 4th overall pick. Between Boise, Kane County and Daytona, Schwarber is hitting .341/.436/.616, and everybody's like, "How about that Billy McKinney!"

I'm still on the Schwarber bandwagon for catcher. Imagine the possibilities of a lineup if he solves the catching hole. I know the team is trying to cut down on his games this year because with college and the minors he's played alot of games but he looks real good.

The FO is really out in front of most teams by acquiring young power bats. Look at the teams that have little power and continue to struggle. This is just exciting to see the Cubs future.

Now if Mike Olt can succeed(they've worked on his stance recently) in Iowa, this projects to be a dynamite lineup.

I hold out hope Mike Olt can become a backup IF who provides replacement level value based on his defense and power during his cost controlled years.

Well put.

I'm crossing my fingers extra tight fro Schwarber and McKinney. They are our 2 best LH bats on the farm. We already got one studly LH hitter in Rizzo. Alcantara's got a chance to be a solid regular possibly. Would just like one of them to succeed as a solid regular to add another quality LH bat coming up from the farm.
