Is McKinney a better prospect than Almora and/or would you have him ranked ahead of him?

I really wish we knew just how good Almora is defensively because that's where his value will be. I think I'd slightly favor McKinney, but he does have a BABIP in the 390s as a Cub.

I'll give McKinney another year. I want to see how long he keeps this up and if scouting opinions seem to be changing on him before I move up up that high. But I understand the argument for putting him ahead of Almora.

RT @TommyBirch Kris Bryant is out of the game. Walking back to the clubhouse with the trainer before the start of the 3rd inning. #Cubs #PCL

Some people watching the game thought it might be his back. He had just made an over the shoulder basket type catch. Maybe he tweaked his back on the play.

Soler with another double

Was told Bryant's removal was precautionary. Cubs will know more soon, but doesn't sound like something they're to worried about at moment.

I'm not too worried about it anyways as long as it's not a wrist injury or a ligament injury. He's not coming up this year anyways.

RT @TommyBirch: I-#Cubs manager Marty Pevey said that Kris Bryant left the game with a foot injury. Was taken to the hospital for x-rays. #PCL #MiLB

Looking at a similar case involving Erick Aybar from 2012 where he fouled a ball off his toe and had x-rays and originally they were inconclusive showing a "small line" on his right big toe (http://espn.go.com/los-angeles/mlb/story/_/id/8193497/los-angeles-angels-say-erick-aybar-x-rays-show-small-line-big-toe).

After the MRI, they determined it was fractured. He did it on July 21st but was able to come back from the DL on August 6th (http://hardballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/08/06/erick-aybar-back-from-disabled-list-after-fractured-toe/). I would assume the Cubs would probably come close to shutting Bryant down though with the season nearing an end.

Yeah doesn't seem like to big of a deal, unfortunate yes, but even if it's broken he's shut down for the year and misses out on just a few more weeks of ab's anyways. Also, all of the sudden, Theo/Jed have their excuse to hold him down next year. "Well you know he had that toe injury that cut his season short last year, so we want to ease him back into baseball down in Iowa to make sure he's completely ready."

I wouldn't put it past them getting this remote controlled baseball into the game somehow.

Truthfully, Bryant has little to prove in the last month of the season. He's not getting called up, and he's accomplished everything he needed to accomplish this year and more. If he's shut down and everyone is spared the constant barrage of commentary about whether he should be called up or not, that isn't the worst thing in the world.
