He was spacing off in LA when Schierholtz threw that runner out at first too. I hate always comparing the two, but the pass he gets is kinda funny when his SS would be getting crucified right now for doing something similar.

 

yup, he does stuff like this somewhat frequently and never gets called out. even len and jd, whom i love, completely brush this stuff off with rizzo while taking time to note every little thing about castro. last week jd was all over castro about not getting as big of a secondary lead as he might. that's fine, but rizzo just made a mistake that extended an inning so the other team could take the lead!

Man on 2nd nobody out. He was saying the other day how he'll need to shorten up his swing to move runners over when necessary. There was also a game earlier this season when Starlin had like 3 hits and the Cubs won, the first thing he talked about on the post-game was how he failed to move a runner over.
