Broke down and bought the mlbtv premium for the rest of the season, was only 25 bucks. I'll be watching on the ipad, had wisdom teeth removed today so I'll be up late anyway.

Called directv up to try and negotiate a deal for extra innings. No dice. $120 for the remainder of the year. I tried every trick in the book. Finally told them to eat my balls.

22 wgn games left. Bunch of day games I couldn't watch anyway.

Hopefully with more night games next year, the bringing up of Bryant, and generally not sucking next year will see me take the plunge for the full season

Never been in attendance for a big time prospect debut until tonight. Ready to go...

I was at Prior's. That was fun.

I was actually at Rizzo's Cubs debut, too, but that wasn't his actual debut.

I did, plus I ditched work to take a young lady to her first Cubs game as our first date. The day ended...well (even though I had to buy her a Sandberg t-shirt).

I went to Brett Jackson and Josh Vitters' big league debut, so there's that.

Man, you're like a cat climbing into a baby's crib, aren't you?

I also would have been at Javy's big league debut if he was called up one game earlier.

neither milton nor michael bradley signed with the cubs in december 2009.

Yes I meant Milton. And yes I meant Dec 2009 as the day of my last post prior to last night's.

Rust shows.

I just hope we call up Soler & Bryant before September 1st since we're pretty much a lock for the playoffs now.

I feel like a little kid on Christmas morning... I went to sleep in the 10th and woke this morning to find a 410 foot BOMB under the tree...like that NES kid freaking out.

That was awesome. He played flawless D at 2nd and hit a extra inning game winning home run in his very first game. What more could anyone ask for?

Let's not go crazy, now.

I skipped the 10th and 11th. Did I miss something?

He miss-played a ball that could have and probably should have been ruled an error, didn't see the play but thats the gist of it. Was afk during the play.

He made a pretty nice turn but low throw in the 8th that required a good dig from Rizzo.

In the 11th, he let a ball deflect off of him that probably could have been scored an error.

I'm not complaining about him and am confident that he'll be solid defensively, but I wouldn't call his performance flawless.
