yeah, no [expletive] ties.

and no, they're not [expletive] draws.

ps - I like beer.

I think they should alternate use of hands vs use of head with home vs away. For instance, the home team can use their heads to hit the ball but not their hands and vice versa for the visiting team.

Secondly, once you start running, you can never stop it you get put into a penalty box located behind your goalie

I think my second suggestion would greatly reduce the required number of minutes for a game from 90 to around 45. Then, the players would have more time for beer which as I understand it is the primary goal for any soccer player

i read one article that was like klinsman realized they're likely aren't getting out of the first round anyway, and donovan is gonna be fat or dead by 2018, so he said [expletive] it let's take some kids.

That's pretty much it.

I love this idea so so so much

They should make the field about half the current size and then put bumpers on the sidelines so you can hit bank shots.

They had a professional indoor league back in the late 70s/ early '80s. The Chicago Sting had a German guy named Karl Heinz Granitza or something like that and the game scores would be like 9-7.

Now that's a sport worth watching.

Also, there's too many players on the field. It should be something like 5 on 5.

I'd like to see them go to 7 vs. 7 in OT to open up more space. Anything to avoid the shoot out which is the dumbest thing in sports because it should be the best thing ever but actually sucks.

Should be like hockey playoffs where they just have to man up and keep playing until someone scores.

What has he done that's as awesome as Sammy?

This:

?

oh soccer. never change.

if you put sammy sosa's top 1000 plays in order of awesomeness, this would be more awesome than like maybe the last 50 or so.

If Sammy was allowed to run out of the dugout, grab a wild pitch, toss it up in the air and then crush it into the stands I feel like it would be similar.

except instead of crushing it into the stands he laid down a bunt to beat the shift

i know this is pathetic considering i only follow soccer one out of every 48 months, but that was seriously one of the 10 or so most exciting moments of my sports watching life.
