Doesn't matter anyway. Teams considered to be "better" lose in the NHL.

If they play like they did last night, they're going to get beat regardless of potential.

So, no more like last night. Thx.

I thought they played fine last night. Sometimes the other team's shots go in a lot more than you'd like.

They played fine the first 35 minutes or so.

Then LA started to possess the puck more and finally converted an opportunity. The Kings seized momentum there and had a couple of strong chances in the last 90 seconds of the 2nd. The third started, and the Hawks played ok but took a penalty, LA finally scored on the PP, then the Hawks took a dumb too many men penalty and the wheels fell off. The 3rd and 4th goals were soft IIRC. Then the Hawks started agressively attacking, which led to 2 straight odd man rushes, and LA converted the 2nd for the 5th goal. Then the Hawks pulled the goalie and gave up a 6th goal.

It wasn't as bad as the 6-2 score suggests but they did have a stretch where they did a lot of things wrong.

It's just the inevitable thing about hockey that goals going in is about as random as BABIP but we very much base our perceptions on how a team played by it.

They played fine last night. Better than they did, say, in Game 6 in Minnesota.

We just got bitch slapped for the first time tonight. Glad you are all OK with that, but I think this is real trouble

Hawks got bitch slapped game 1 at home vs Vancouver in 2010. Were getting bitch slapped 2-0 in game 2, before winning the game late. Then went to Vancouver and took both.

As for this past game, the Hawks were in control for 38 minutes could have been up 5-0 instead of 2-0, stick tap to Quick who kept them in it. They get a fluke goal late in the 2nd, and then two power play goals to start off the third. Then the Hawks began pinching and the wheels came off. I am not worried, Hawks will take at least 1 of the next 2 in LA. Hawks should end up winning this series. They are 10-3 vs LA for a reason.

One other thing, what kind of dirty laundry does Bolig have on Q that he isn't sitting in the press box? What a worthless pile of crap he is(I know he had an assist last night).

I'm thinking that Shaw will replace Bollig instead of Regin. I'm hoping, anyway.

That would make too much sense for Q
