If they'd lost last night, I was gonna skip the late game on Wednesday. Glad they're gonna make me have a sleepy Thursday at work.

Hmm, that does look fairly similar to Seabrook's hit, except for in this situation Keith was playing the puck and Ott probably didn't leave his feat at all, however he did have an upward trajectory towards his head and led with a forearm.

Looks to me like the primary point of contact was shoulder. It was high-ish and borderline dirty, and definitely dangerous, but it didn't remind me of Seabrook on Backes.

Looks to me like the primary contract was actually the side, even below the shoulder. And Keith had the damn puck.

NHL Radio is talking more than I expected about Lapierre's hit on Brookbank. Quote, "Lapierre is French for idiot."

They think he might get suspended. I doubt it, and even if I did it wouldn't be more than a game.

Interesting

2013 - Blues go up 2-0 against the defending champs with Steen and Jackman getting the game winners. Shutout 1-0 in Game 3.

2014 - Blues go up 2-0 against the defending champs with Steen and Jackman getting the game winners. Shutout 2-0 (empty netter) in Game 3

Crazy that every game in that series was decided by 1 goal. This one too except for the empty netter.

Damn Penguins goalie letting up the tying goal with 22 seconds left. Not sure if I'm going to be able to watch the Hawks until that game ends.

So... apparently that Blue penalty was unsportsmanlike conduct for both Handzus and Tarasenko, then a roughing by Ott. How is that not fighting by Ott? Just because Handzus didn't swing back?

I'm not complaining, I'm legitimately confused by that call.

Is that why it wasn't fighting? Because he missed?
