Wilson broke his clavicle, no timetable for his return.

Conservatively say that he's probably out for two months? If that's the case, he's out for at least the first month of the season.

Probably IR with a designation to return....he'd have to stay on that list for 8 weeks.

RE: Marquess Wilson ~ Could be four weeks, could be 8+. See wide range from Colston (surg, 3-4 wks) to Rodgers (observe, 8 wks) recently.

Earl Bennett anyone?

I would love him back but isn't there some bad blood there now?

He doesn't have a job...he probably will get over it for a paycheck. He knows the offense, and is buddies with Jay.

FWIW, I really liked the Josh Morgan pickup. He's been a solid #3 WR in the past, basically putting up better numbers than Earl Bennett did last year pretty consistently. He hasn't had a great camp though, from most accounts. Wouldn't hurt to bring back Bennett, but you can see how guys do for the next couple weeks along with how the injury is progressing. I'm sure Earl will be available Week 3-4 of preseason still.

Well crap, that sucks.

I like Morgan too but I had higher hopes for Wilson than Morgan.

@SigmundBloom: broken collarbone RT @JeneBramel Marquess Wilson ~ 4 wks to 8+. Wide range from Colston (surg, 3-4 wks) to Rodgers (observe, 8 wks)

Five weeks until the opener so that timeframe suggests 0-3 games missed. Still would like to bring in Earl though, I feel like Weems should never be part of a #3 WR discussion.

What did Briggs do last year? Wasn't it similar? Or was his a dislocation.

Which means I was wrong before, break better than dislocation.

Apparently Weems has been great in camp, but then again, there's always TC stars that can't bring it to the season.

It's broken. I don't believe in the whole 4 week return talk when it's a broken bone. Heard that same kind of stuff with Rodgers too.

But it's a QB vs a WR. Wilson doesn't have to worry about throwing a ball.

He has to worry about going up for balls and getting laid out by defenders.

Just saying that the factors in determining when he's ready aren't necessarily equivalent.

So another practice ended early after a scuffle. Bennett and Fuller this time (though mostly Bennett based on the video I saw). Football is a pretty intense sport and you have to figure scuffles in practice are common. Are there just a lot occurring or is Trestman quick to end practices early for it? I never remember hearing about so many practice fights.
