Brandon should stop posting here now.

If I quit posting on message boards every time I said something dumb...

Well the internet would be a lot smarter probably.

Illinois boy woot.

And from lagrange. He was a highly rated recruit out of high school, had the size and strength to play LT, but he got forced to play center early on and he just stayed there.

Uncertainty clouds the backup quarterback position at Chicago Bears training camp with Jordan Palmer and Jimmy Clausen competing for the No. 2 job. So it’s no surprise general manager Phil Emery expressed an interest Saturday in potentially bringing back Kyle Orton.

I'd feel more comfortable with Orton than either Palmer or Clausen, but from what I have read he pretty much told the cowboys to [expletive] off. Not that anyone should be faulted for telling Jerry Jones to [expletive] off...

http://www.chicagobears.com/news/article-1/Bears-release-unofficial-depth-chart/f8d6c231-8e0b-439e-8a9d-cd498277e123

Jordan Palmer is listed as the No. 2 quarterback behind Jay Cutler and ahead of Jimmy Clausen and rookie sixth-round draft pick David Fales.

Marquess Wilson is second at one receiver position behind Brandon Marshall and ahead of Josh Bellamy, Chris Williams and Armanti Edwards. At the other spot, Eric Weems is second behind Alshon Jeffery and ahead of Josh Morgan, Micheal Spurlock and Dale Moss.

At running back, Shaun Draughn is second behind Matt Forte and ahead of Michael Ford, Ka’Deem Carey and Senorise Perry.

At tight end, Dante Rosario is second behind Martellus Bennett and ahead of Zach Miller, Matthew Mulligan and Jeron Mastrud.

On defense, Shea McClellin is listed as the starting strongside linebacker, while Jonathan Bostic and D.J. Williams are co-starters at middle linebacker.

Ryan Mundy is the starting strong safety ahead of Danny McCray, Adrian Wilson and Marcus Trice, while Brock Vereen is listed as the No. 1 free safety ahead of M.D. Jennings.

Depth charts at this point are just some names on stuff. The first 3 is pretty set in stone at most places (all offense and probably 8/11 of the defense). But after that it's a crapshoot. For example, McCray and Trice have practiced at and are pretty exclusively FS.

Really loving whats coming out about Wilson

Marquess Wilson is listed as the direct backup to "X" receiver Brandon Marshall on the Bears' first unofficial depth chart.

It's an indication Wilson is the No. 2 X, with Alshon Jeffery at Z. In three-wide packages, Wilson will enter games this season as Chicago's No. 2 outside receiver, with Marshall or Jeffery playing in the slot. Wilson reportedly beat Charles Tillman for a 20-yard sideline catch in Saturday's scrimmage. We also saw video of him catching a downfield bomb in tight double coverage.

Wasn't Wilson considered a 2nd or 3rd round talent before he walked out on Wash St?

With potential to sneak into the first round, yes.

Jared Allen didn't participate in the family night practice last night, and isn't around for practice today either.

they said "veteran's day off" yesterday. That would not seem to be the case today.

And has been getting his ass kicked by Bushrod all camp. Hope this is just a vet taking it easy, and not death.

Bears WR Marquess Wilson just was carted off the practice field. Injured diving for deep pass. Got up favoring upper body, right side.

Seems shouldery to me.

Hope it's separated and not broken. Prayer circle on the field makes me fear the worse, but I'm pretty sure this is at least a 6 week thing. [expletive]. But Javy doe!
