Sounding like the Packers might just shut down Rodgers for the season.

Does not bode well for my fantasy football team considering I already lost David Wilson, Julio Jones, Randall Cobb, Mike James, Brian Cushing, Ahmad Bradshaw, and now possibly Rodgers. Sad part... I'm in 3rd right now and could be in 2nd with a win this week or still be in 3rd with a loss.

Speaking of fantasy football... pick 1 of these 3 RBs to start this week: Lamar Miller vs Jets (no more Daniel Thomas), Donald Brown vs Titans (now the starter), or Jonathan Stewart (D Will is out and Tolbert is banged up)

I have Miller in right now because he has NOBODY taking his touches now.

I'd have started Donald Brown. The Dolphins running game is in shambles right now with the 2 O-Lineman out, and they've been bailing on the run game early in games lately.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Aaron Rodgers (collarbone) has been eyeing a Week 14 return all along, but "he'd be lucky" to play next Sunday.

Advice: The 5-6-1 Packers' season is just about over. They have little hope for the playoffs, and Rapoport adds that the team is considering shutting Rodgers down for the rest of the year, especially since their postseason hopes are slim.

I don't necessarily think their playoff chances are slim, but they aren't great. They were a 5-2 team with Rodgers, and their remaining games are at home vs. Atlanta, at Dallas, at home vs. Pittsburgh, and at Chicago. I think they could easily win all 4.

Packers tanking?

SO in the NYG @ WAS game tonight, the chain gang moved the chains, then the head official told them WAS was short of the 1st down after WAS ran a play. Basically, WAS went from 1st and 10 to 4th and 1 after an incompletion. Edited by CubInOK

Holy crap I am nervous about MNF, and have no idea how that's going to go. Cold weather game, but then the Saints are finally healthy on both sides of the ball. Can't wait.

I don't know what needs to be done, but the officiating in the NFL just has to get better. This is every damn week with the bush league screw ups.

They're more consistent on calls from week to week, but they screw up just as bad and almost as often in critical situation as those replacement refs last year. It is time for the NFL to do something about it. Need to hold them accountable in some way. I think this year has the most I've seen in a single season where they would throw a flag on a play and end up picking it up/saying there's no penalty. It's unreal. How many refs are there on the field right now? Do they need to add 1-2 more to have more eyes on the play? I'm not exactly sure what the next step would be.

More refs maybe? A QA ref in the booth? I don't know. It's really embarrassing watching some of this stuff, and when it hurts my team, obviously it drives me half crazy.

A Seattle vs. Denver Super Bowl would be very entertaining

I agree. There's pretty much no chance it doesn't get screwed up though.

Denver will screw up their chance to reach the Super Bowl. I don't think Seattle can be beaten at home.

Peyton has a flight time with Brady, so a loss to NE wouldn't surprise anyone
