I don't think they will, but they can. Defense would have to play terrific, though.

MSU takes away the QB run better then anyone and they are committed to power running. I think they have the ingredients to beat OSU. Their biggest weakness on Def is allowing big passing plays, which OSU can accomplish.

Yeah, Michigan State would be a good matchup alone for the fact that they're a legitimate Top 20 team, and OSU has faced exactly one of those, but they have the defense to push the OSU offense to a stalemate, and the offense to make enough plays to win.

 

Random fact after glancing at the OSU schedule, they've played 4 road games this year(Cal, Northwestern, Purdue, Illinois) and those teams are a combined 1-29 in conference, the only win coming when 2 of those teams played each other. Hopefully playing even the semblance of an actual opponent away from home will make next week interesting. Probably hoping against hope though, because I need an OSU or FSU loss for Mizzou to continue to control their own destiny.

I've been saying all along that they were grossly overrated and expected Okie Lite to take them out. Now, I didn't quite expect the complete ass whipping that they received but the double digit loss wasn't a shocker at all.

I would like to think this will teach players to employ the Dennis Rodman approach to sexual relations, where everything is documented and someone is waiting to wisk the girl out of the room at the first mention of "no."
