The reaction of J.R. Smith is perfect. Please, keep these coming.

The only team to have not scored 100 points in any game this season? The Pacers. That's a strange distinction for an undefeated team to have.

Not really. Their schedule has been cake so undefeated is an overly simplistic way of evaluating their strength and when you play their kind of defense you slow the game down, reduce possessions and thus reduce your own scoring chances.

They've also let off the gas multiple times in the 4th qtr due to comfortable leads. Pacers have 3 starters who are averaging 30 mins or less per game.

An interesting note I saw the other day, Paul George is 2nd in isolation scoring this season, behind only Durant.

Shouldn't the guy between the ball and the basket, be the guy stopping the ball from getting into said basket?

Yeah, that and it appear Bargnani and Melo switched on that screen. Melo was rolling with whoever that big white dude was after he set the screen. If JR tries to collapse there on the dribbler his guy is left wide open for a kick out 3. That's all on Bargnani there.

Yeah, I get that. It's really just a statistical quirk. They're 14th in offensive rating so far, and even though they are 29th in pace they are still averaging almost 95 points a game. 95 points a game isn't that much, but it's a tightrope to keep that kind of average and not get to 100 sooner or later.

Their schedule has been cake, but I don't expect it to get much harder through the season either. That's just going to happen for stretches when you're an elite team in the weak East. They have gotten lucky to have had several games against teams who are under performing so far this year (Chicago, Brooklyn, Memphis). Their schedule doesn't really get any tougher until the beginning of December when they have a brutal 6 game stretch (at Clippers, at Portland, at Utah, At San Antonio, At Oklahoma City, home Miami). But I fully expect them to have one of the easiest 7 schedules in the league once again.

The East is just depressingly bad. I feel bad for CST and EST NBA fans who can't stay up to watch west coast games.

Awesome end to the OKC/GSW game

I wonder just how good golden state can be. That's a hell of a starting 5

I think that's the first time Chris Paul's reaction to getting fouled was actually justified.

If Allen would have missed his face with the kick, Paul would have spun to the ground and thrown the ball in the air. But because for the first time in his career, he was actually fouled, he didn't know what to do and his fat ass never went down.

Does the Knicks coach tell his team not to play defense?

They basically are operating under a open gym scheme at this point. Bunch of me first guys where the first guy over half court with the ball is going to chuck it and defense is just an opportunity for them to rest and bitch at each other about their previous failed attempt to score on offense and/or not getting the ball passed to them.
