UCF is a really good team. Beat PSU and Louisville, almost beat South Carolina. They could give someone fints come bowl time, unless they get railroaded into some auto-bid against a MAC team or something

I see Austin Seferian-Jenkins ahead of Eric Ebron in mock drafts but if I were picking a TE in the first round, I'd definitely take Ebron first.

"

This was the case for me before the season. Ebron is a more dynamic receiver and I think he may actually be a better blocker. At least more willing blocker.

I wonder if Lyerla leaving Oregon drops him way down in the draft like Marquess Wilson. He'd be a steal late if that's the case. He won't block at all though.

#7 player in the country DE Myles Garrett just committed to A&M. Kid is a beast. He had 9 sacks in one game a week or two ago. I wish he could suit up for our defense tomorrow.

oh yeah, well ND just got a commitment from the 73rd best WR who is approximately my height and weight, so...sorry to steal your thunder.

lol. What does beating PSU prove? PSU's only decent win was in 4OT against a UM team that barely beat Akron and UCONN and had to miss 3 game-winning FGs.

UCF can prove themselves again in a November matchup with future BigX titan, Rutgers.

It proves that they beat a team with better coaching and players? Even with PSU's sanctions, they recruit better players than Central [expletive] Florida.

Even if you throw that win out, they barely lost to South Carolina and just beat Louisville. It's a good team, I don't know why you're arguing.

yeah, even with Mattison, we definitely don't have better coaching

as evidenced by the 30(!) RB carries for 28 yards...good coaching doesn't repeatedly tell the other team "hey look at this formation, we're going to run the ball this way!"

PSU was epic trolling Borges over his categorical aversion to WR screens:

and this was in OT when we needed just a FG to win

Beating Louisville doesn't mean much yet. Strong has played 3 top-25 teams in his tenure at Lville. Total. Playing such a soft schedule leads to a high win total without needing big wins.

I don't know what you even mean by "good." I don't think any top 25 teams are nervous to play UCF.

A) Yes, Mizzou is much better than the worst team in the SEC.

B) They have been extremely fortunate to play Georgia and Florida when they did.

C) Bill Murray being Bill Murray on College Gameday makes that show watchable.

This targeting call and automatic ejection is horrible.

The one against Georgia was an absolute atrocity.

Yeah, the Ray Drew one is what inspired me to post. How can you review that and uphold the ejection?

James Franklin caught "I'm going to fix what's not broken!" disease on that play call. Why line up in that gimmicky formation when you're moving the ball all over UGA's D?

The one against USC was valid. Guy lead with his helmet into a WRs ear hole. He needed to be kicked out.

Wow, Clowney just smacked the Tennessee RB for a TFL and the RB just threw it away for an incompletion. I've never seen that before. Odd and super dangerous. Everyone thought it was a fumble at first.

I don't know why they don't do it more often, at least on sweeps and things where they're going to be forced out for 5 yard losses (not while they're being dragged down)

And NW looks broken.

This one happened when the RB was being dragged down. It just seems super risky.

I'm pretty sure Connor Shaw just tore his knee. These SEC East QBs are dropping like flies.

ETA: Apparently only a knee strain for Shaw.

Fun day in the SEC East

Also lol spurrier

He's definitely gone senile.
