I'm in the tank for Harbaugh, I'd definitely take them if I was you. I don't like that Jets game. They're 3-2, but I just don't trust them, nor do I think Pittsburgh could possibly be as bad as they've shown. Though I am slow to adapt to previously good teams getting bad in a hurry which seems to happen a lot in the NFL.

How insane is that JAX/DEN spread going to be?

I know Houston looked like garbage, but I think I'm down to them over STL, KC over OAK, or CHI over NYG

picking CHI over a winless NYG team on a short week when half of Bears Dline is dead scares me.

Gaines Adams was like 3 years ago, enough excuses

Oh man, I'd say "too soon" but I still remember when it happened and like half the fans' reaction was, "so do we still have to give up our second rounder?"

Jets over Pitt is also intriguing. I guess here are the options I'm considering with my concerns in parentheses:

SF over ARI (SF has seemed erratic, divisional foe)

CHI over NYG (Bears injuries, NY has to win sometime, right?)

NYJ over PIT (NYJ coming off road win. Pit has to win sometime, right?)

HOU over STL ( Houston isn't very good and Schaub is melting down, but man STL is bad)

KC over OAK (divisional)

if you've used DEN & SEA, this is the route you should go

KC is pretty attractive though, if you want to save SF for 2 more weeks to use vs. JAX

Who you going with, SSR?

I'm really torn between SF over ARI and HOU over STL.

I'm worried about SF being able to run the ball against the Cardinal D, which is pretty strong. CK will not be able to throw the ball, especially with his receivers.

However, HOU looks like it's in a tailspin, and who knows what Schaub will do.

I took Houston and am kicking myself for not taking the Bears because I am getting downer and downer on them for the season. Still have back of my mind telling me to switch to KC, but I just can't go away from my first pick.

I'd definitely take San Fran if I was you. I liked Arizona for about a week, and have turned hard on them since. and I'll love San Fran long past their point of being good. Harbaugh could die on the field next week, and I'd keep picking them for 3 years after.

Not exactly a survivor pool, but similar. I'm in a two strikes pool where you are given a small list of games each week and have to pick one winner. Obviously, two wrong picks and you're out. Here is the list this week. Is Seattle too obvious here?

Sunday, November 10

Buffalo @ Pittsburgh

Cincinnati @ Baltimore

Detroit @ Chicago

Seattle @ Atlanta

Houston @ Arizona

Monday, November 11

Miami @ Tampa Bay

Seattle has looked sketchy recently, but Atlanta has looked worse than sketchy. Only other pick I'd suggest is Arizona.

New week in my 2 strikes - Seattle worked out just fine last week. First thoughts this week are New Orleans:

Sunday, November 17

Baltimore @ Chicago

Detroit @ Pittsburgh

NY Jets @ Buffalo

Washington @ Philadelphia

San Francisco @ New Orleans

Monday, November 18

New England @ Carolina

I agree with Tree. Detroit as my first choice and I honestly think Philly would be my #2. That Redskins defense is baaaaad.

Weird that I like New Orleans?

Not as weird as me thinking the Bears might be one of the best bets from that group.
