Don't have time to dwell on it. Columbus is finishing with 8 games in 12 days. Need to regroup for the Islanders on Sunday and Phoenix on Tuesday

I think Toronto is kind of scary down the stretch. They are not a bad team but somehow lost 8 games in a row in regulation. I would think that they would have to come back to the mean and have won 2 in a row. Jackets still have a game in hand though. Like their chances

Toronto losing at home to Winnipeg is a killer. Can't believe the tailspin of that team. I blame Phaneuf and Clarkson way more than Carlisle but of course the coach probably won't survive this.

yeah what a collapse. They really have a very little chance of making he playoffs at this point.

I have never been that big on Phaneuf. I think he is a solid top pair guy, but not a C. Clarkson is funny. I was hoping the Wings would sign him in the off-season. But he got way overpaid and has not been good.

holy [expletive]. colorado is only 2 points behind st. louis, and the avs would have the tiebreaker.

with the way the blues are playing, i almost would rather get them in the first round and avoid varlamov.

Why almost? I'd rather give the Avs a chance to choke against Dallas or the Wild, not that it really matters.

I still would rather play Colorado. Not that St Louis scares me, but they are physical and full of thugs, considering Toews and Kane will just be coming back from injury. Dallas, Phoenix, or Minnesota can take the Blues out.

Haven't the Blackhawks had some success against the bully teams in the playoffs? Boston, Philly, etc. They've lost when the opposing goalie gets hot or they are simply just the lesser team.

Plus the Duchene injury, although it doesn't seem to be hurting them all that much currently. That said, defenses get tighter in the playoffs, and the Avs will miss his offensive ability even more.

That is true, I just worry Steve Ott will take a run at one of Kane or Toews in a game 1.

Yeah, or Reaves or that dirtbag Lapierre.

We can out skate them but I watched that LA-STL first-round series last year and it was brutally physical.
