Can't remember the last time the Bears ran a good screen like that.

holy crap the tackling.

Heck, the recognition was even worse.

No kidding. How did my wife know it was a screen and none of the Bears linemen did?

what was the point of that? scared of adding to his interception total? or thought Jeffery would temporarily gain super human ability to shed 7 tacklers?

Trestman's offense is not impressive. Cutler's execution of it is also less-than-spectacular.

This isn't going to cut it.

Loads of defensive problems too.

That was a wall of blockers right there. No chance.

yup, as soon as i saw the blockers lined up i figured it was going to be bad for us

Curses, the plot to pad the offense's stats was foiled by that penalty

it counts, I believe they decline the penalty

good point. Wonder when the last time Cutler had 175 in the first half was.

At least Cutler's QB rating is 125.7 at halftime????

Lot of yards, a touchdown and no interceptions. Not surprising.

It was more about how the offense (and defense) hasn't looked good in the 1st half for the most part and down 13 yet Cutler is really having his best game this season (at this moment anyway).

The linebackers are struggling today. Briggs has made some plays, but been burned badly on others.

based on QB rating sure, but he lost a fumble inside the Bears 20 and threw a pass right at a defender.

I think its time to start over on defense after this year. It's not terrible but its definitely not where it was even last year.

Well, the defense does have 7 free agent starters plus a decision coming on Peppers this offseason so it'll be addressed.
