Oh hey thanks for nothing, Tom Brady

The receiving core he had last night might seriously be the worst one any team puts out in a single game all year.

Well it has been a week, but yea I get what you're saying.

Mangold gonna lose some money for that

I get that the NFL lets QBs run down the sideline and juke and try to get a few extra yards before stepping out right as someone is about to pop them. It's a stupid rule (imo, if you want to dance down the sideline instead of run directly OOB, then you subject yourself to getting popped right as your foot lands OOB).

But a DB on a pick return who's hopping around and spinning like a ballerina? The OL is like 300 lbs. His only hope of tackling him is to dive at the guys legs. So he's supposed to know exactly when the guy is going to jump back OOB (and inexplicably turn around)? If the DB keeps running straight, the OL hits him around the waist/knees and knocks him down in a perfectly normal way.

Well, brandon kind of makes it sound like he was mindlessly tweeting about it, but there's a reason.

I certainly didn't mean to make it sound as if he was mindlessly tweeting about his wife being run over, my bad I guess.

I'm sure you didn't, but at first read I was thinking of it being some mindless dope like Darren Rovell just live tweeting [expletive] people don't want live tweeted.

Philip Rivers' passer rating when Chargers were up 28-7 with 10:46 left in 3rd quarter was 134.8 ... Thereafter, it was 0.

Sitting in a bar FULL of Charger fans, it was rather amazing watching the highs and lows of the way that game went. I think I read that the Chargers didn't get a single first down after they got the score up to 28-7. And they thought Marty Shottenheimer liked to sit on big leads. Wow!

What's worse is that Ryan Mathews got only 20 snaps in that game. I'm not even sure if he even had a snap after it was 28-7. It seems like it was Brown and Woodhead the rest of the way. What a weird game and play calling.

Yeah, the very first play from scrimmage was Mathews slipping behind defenders for a touchdown catch. And then he was pretty much a forgotten man after that.

malcolm floyd being put on a stretcher after a horrific hit to the head

if the players really hate these new rules so much, they're gonna have to figure out a way to stop killing people every week or it's just going to get worse. Brandon Meriweather did two helmet to helmets today, put one guy out of the game and then knocked himself unconscious on the second one.

at a certain point it's not goodell's fault anymore

in fairness, one of the player safety rules should probably just be "brandon meriweather is not allowed to play football."

lol Carolina

Yeah, what the hell was that? I don't think I've ever seen a player that wide open in the end zone at the end of a game.

One corner played zone, one played man

Titans called TO on a kick that was made, then again on a kick that was missed.

Then finally it was missed.

OT.

And in between there was a 5 yard defensive penalty that led to a blocked kick, so he attempted 4 kicks and made 1 of them.
