Almora gets the gas face with an 0-4, with a BB. Bryant is 3-5 with 2 doubles and a triple. Soler is 2-4 with a HR and a BB.

I think the strikeouts will prevent Bryant and Baez from being better hitters than Rizzo next year.

Bryant doesn't really strike out that much. At least not in non-professional debuts.

27% at Daytona is pretty high. Not a huge worry point considering the sample size and that pretty much every other PA was spent doing awesome things, but the concern goes above that sombrero in his Boise debut.

Damn. I thought I read like 19% or so. Never did the math myself though.

Actually, 19.45% is the more important Kris Bryant number.....

That's his extra base hit per at bat percentage. To which I say the following:

KING KONG AIN'T GOT [expletive] ON HIM!!!!!

Oops, make that 27.7%

Interestingly enough, that doesn't even crack the Top 20 for the AFL.

On the other side of things, Bryant leads the league in OPS by 133 points(and 3rd place by 223 points!), leads in HR and 2B(and obviously TB as well), and is 2nd in hits.

Damn, that is pretty interesting. I wonder why the strikeout rates are so damn high.

Maybe Kris Bryant is our Stanton.

Or maybe both Baez and Bryant are.

Not sure how we end up with Moore and Bradley if we still have Almora, Baez, Bryant, Alcantara, Pierce, and Edwards.

Samarzdija gets us Bradley. Soler, the one of Edwards/Johnson not in the rotation, and others go to Tampa for Moore.

I don't see the Rays wanting a highly paid prospect...unless we sent a lot of cash with him.
