I don't blame you for not counting/remembering a 2 game series whose games were played over a month apart from each other.

 

Anyways, last road sweep of 3 or more games was last September vs. Pittsburgh.

Cubs went 6-4 on the road trip despite getting outscored 38-31.

Cubs have a better record than the Blue Jays, even with the Angels, and a percentage point below the Phillies.

 

9.5 games out of a Wild Card spot. Not entirely out of the realm of possibility, but certainly not worth putting any legitamate thought toward playoff matchups.

 

Still have to wonder where we'd be if not for the disaster that was the bullpen for the first months or so, but that seems like forever ago.

 

This team is been very enjoyable for stretches and equally maddening for others. The ride could be a fun one the rest of the way, and if we do happen to gain some ground, then I might just have to start mixing that 'Laid.
