Oh come the [expletive] on.

Franklin Bains ‏@FTBains 52m

Hunter Renfroe just robbed Kris Bryant of what would've probably been a home run over short right fence. Interesting battle between the two.

At least:

Steve Mims ‏@SteveMims_RG 2m

Back-and-forth we go, two runs for Boise to take 4-3 lead. Kris Bryant, No. 2 pick in draft, led off with a walk and later scored.

Almora's walk rate is now 6% and this is why you're a dope Keith Law.

Baez just hit a ball to the warning track just missing a grand slam and his 3rd HR of the game.

ffffffffffuuuuuuuuuuu

I love Javy Baez. He's going to be exciting as [expletive] to watch at Wrigley.

For all practical purposes, when it comes to prospect watching, narrowly missing a home run is as good as a home run, even if it's recorded as a loud out.

And why is Alberto Cabrera in the pen yet again?

To limit his innings.

do they expect soler to be back? daytona's season ends september 1st. if he'll only get a week or two of games in at daytona, you might as well give him the extra time to heal and make sure he's 100% for the AFL.

Love that AA is at the point where a 1-2 night with a 3 RBI double & a BB is ho-hum.

#consistency

#patience

What are the odds of AA skipping AAA all together with a breakout this spring? With Hendry driving the cub wagon it would be likely. The current FO is another story.

Given the Front Office's insistence on 500 PAs at AAA, I'd say next to zero odds. Especially for a guy like Alcantara, who for all his success could still use some refinement in his game.

I still think that is being overstated and was more just some stuff they said in the media as an excuse for waiting to get Rizzo's clock pushed back.
